Senior Manager Gift Cards
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As part of Digital Partnerships team, the Gift Card pillars looks to grow DTC Ecom/Retail as well as commercial partnerships with Third party retailers, driving traffic and sales through adidas’ DTC digital & retail channels. In this role, the Sr Manager Gift Cards will lead a team of digital experts, playing a crucial part in driving sustainable growth for the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experts in eCommerce, Partnerships and Account Management, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee and optimize a diverse portfolio of partners segmented by business sectors, including open and closed loop. Building strong relationships to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.
- Responsible for Performance Management. Taking ownership of commercial KPIs, such as Liability, Redemption, Traffic, Upsell, and Breakage.
- Lead the creation of contractual partnership agreements and oversee the negotiation process.
- Implement and drive channel strategy across the Gift Card pillar, creating and improving initiatives to meet our commercial objectives, ensuring weekly management of business performance.
- Develop and maintain accurate business forecasts by evaluating partner and country-level performance data.
- Utilize data analysis to gain insights, identity trends, and define improvements and optimizations to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with Account managers to identify growth opportunities and develop tailored plans to maximize the impact of our partnerships, driving sustainable growth.
- Manage a Marketing budget to plan campaigns and visibility, driving traffic and sales during key calendar moments.
- Ensure optimal return on investment by strategically allocating resources and monitoring campaign performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DPC Platform Operations, DPC and eCom Analytics, Campaign Operations, DVM, Product Owners, eCom Growth, Brand Activation and Membership.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in leading teams, coaching, and mentoring a group of experts in eCommerce and account management.
- Experienced in data analysis tools and monitoring digital business performance.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, set up objectives and define plans to achieve commercial goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets, allocating resources and tracking ROI.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proficient in written & spoken English.
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in eCommerce, Gift Cards, Account Management or related job, preferably in fashion or sporting goods industries.
- Understanding of any additional written & spoken European language is a plus.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
