Senior Manager Risk Management

Ecommerce has seen tremendous growth over the last years and is fully on track to continue achieving its targets. A key lever to enable the future growth plans are excellent operational processes. And that is where you come in. You will be the key driver in investigating vulnerabilities within our ecommerce services and define the necessary controls to mitigate risks. Your aim is to create a best-in-class risk mitigation landscape. You get energy from identifying and mitigating opportunist patterns in an early stage, because you know it has a net-positive impact on revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the European ecommerce risk management strategy
- Assess the existing ecommerce system and process landscape to identify current and emerging vulnerabilities and fraud trends, analyze impact, and prioritize improvements
- Ownership of management reporting on ecommerce loss and profitability metrics
- Represent market demand for risk management with Global Product Ownership, IT Solutions and Analytics. Drive prioritization and implementation to achieve maximum business impact
- Define optimization and rollout requirements / success criteria for new consumer-focused self-service processes to ensure best fit for business need and fraud protection
- Establish innovative market trends and latest technological developments
- Responsible for budget management of all external anti-fraud service providers
- Be the ecommerce center of excellence in Europe for risk management and fraud prevention

- Deep understanding of anti-fraud platforms and interfaces
- Deep understanding of ecommerce finance
- Strong project management skillset
- Extensive analytical skills
- Proven negotiation skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to construct business reports based on complex risk mitigation topics
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, business administration, economics, information technology or similar discipline
- 7 years of experience in an online consumer-facing high-transaction environment
- At least 3 years of experience in ecommerce Payment or Risk Management
