Specialist Inbound Planning

PURPOSE

Ensure optimal visibility and prioritization of product flows across Europe (EU), supporting both inbound fulfilment and network planning. The role contributes to delivering products On Time and In Full (OTIF) according to customer specifications, while balancing cost, capacity and availability across the supply chain network.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Support medium- and long-term strategic direction for Inbound Planning Team
•    Manage inbound flow of goods to EU, ensuring alignment with network capacity, direct ship customer decision trees and priorities
•    Partner with Global Logistics, EU Inbound Transportation, EU DC Operations and EU Fulfillment and Deployment to address constraints and optimize intake plans
•    Define and communicate optimal intake plans, balancing cost, availability and service levels
•    Lead or support regular meetings within EU SCM to share inbound performance outlooks and priorities
•    Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supply or transportation issues impacting availability or cost
•    Contribute to the development of tools and reports to measure inbound planning performance and support decision-making
•    Participate in cross-functional projects, representing Inbound Planning perspective

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•    Strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and ERP (SAP)/WMS systems; experience with SAP S4 preferred
•    Solid understanding of supply chain mechanics and end-to-end flow of goods
•    Experience in implementation or transformation projects
•    Strong analytical and process thinking skills
•    Clear and effective communication across functions and levels
•    Ability to meet critical deadlines with strong planning and organizational skills
•    Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    College or university degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
•    Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics roles
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
•    Fluent in English (oral and written)
