Sports Marketing Senior Specialist - Partner Operations
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Operational support for the Benelux Sports Marketing team, within the scope of the adidas Brand Activation strategy. The current focus is on brand and commercial relevant sports such as Football (Teams & Players), Track & Field/Running and Field Hockey; and valued partners such as Ajax, the Royal Belgian Football Association, the Royal Dutch Hockey Federation (KNHB) and various individual partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational support for the Benelux Sports Marketing department, in close cooperation with the Senior Manager Sports Marketing Football, Sports Marketing Manager Multisport and Football Player Managers.
- Translate commercial input into actionable requirements to deliver on time and in full, to all our important partners.
- In charge of the total Benelux Sports Marketing orderbook. Order placement and tracking of it. Creating delivery notes so the products are delivered to our partners.
- Proactively identify and address risks to deliver on time.
- Develop meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders, to solve any potential delays for the Benelux Sports Marketing portfolio.
- Act as the first point of contact/expert for all internal stakeholders and advise the senior management for input, to all external stakeholders.
- Provide first-class Sports Marketing related service, within the boundaries of the contracts.
Key Relationships:
- Internal: Account Operations, Supply Chain Management, Global/EMEA/North BU’s, (Global) Sports Marketing and Brand Activation,
- External: Partners, distributors, licensees and suppliers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
- Dutch language is a plus
- Strong communication skills; written, oral and presentation
- Structured, organized and process orientated
- Ability to build solid service levels and relationships, both internal and external
- High level of problem-solving ability
- Proficient IT skills including; Microsoft, SAP, Microstrategy
- Independent, proactive thinker
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree with a focus on Business Studies and/or Marketing or a related field; or comparable experience preferred.
- At least 3-5 years working experience in Account Operations, Customer Service or Supply Chain management; experience in Sports Marketing is beneficial.
