Purpose of the role
The Manager Digital Shelf drives digital growth for a key strategic omni-retailer across South East Europe, improving adidas’ online presence, consumer journey and e-commerce performance to grow net sales and market share.
What you will do
- Own the digital growth strategy for a key strategic account across South East Europe and act as the main point of contact for all e-commerce topics.
- Drive online sell-through and accelerate e-commerce performance across the account’s country websites and mobile apps.
- Co-develop and execute the digital joint business plan in collaboration with European Digital Commerce teams, focusing on the most relevant growth opportunities.
- Analyze consumer demand, category trends, digital assortment and online performance to identify opportunities that grow adidas’ net sales and market share.
- Ensure best-in-class digital shelf execution for adidas products, including content quality, product visibility, availability and findability.
- Lead digital shelf optimization initiatives in close collaboration with the account, Sales, Brand, Marketing, Business Analytics and other cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Brand and Marketing teams to deliver impactful digital content across onsite and offsite channels.
- Optimize the consumer journey and adidas brand visibility across digital touchpoints, tailoring actions to improve conversion and commercial performance.
- Track key e-commerce KPIs, quantify commercial impact and support online sales forecasting in partnership with Business Analytics and Sales Account Managers.
- Lead digital trade term negotiations and performance tracking, ensuring KPIs are clearly defined, commercially relevant and contractually secured.
Skills you will need
- Minimum 4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, digital account management or a related field.
- University degree in Business, E-commerce, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, ideally within the sportswear, fashion, lifestyle or retail industry.
- Experience working with external partners and managing cross-functional stakeholders in an international environment.
- Solid knowledge of digital analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Data Studio, BI tools or Adobe.
- Good understanding of online search, including SEO, SEA and onsite search.
- Strong knowledge of key e-commerce KPIs, such as impressions, click-through rate, product detail page views, add-to-cart rate, conversion rate and return on ad spend.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across seniority levels and translate data into clear commercial actions.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
