Purpose of the role
Support our Finance team across South East Europe in financial reporting, accounting and tax-related activities while gaining hands-on experience in finance processes, systems and compliance within an international organization.
What you will do
- Gain an understanding of key financial processes and how business transactions are recorded in SAP and reflected in the financial statements.
- Support the preparation and distribution of financial statements and other financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of tax statements and documentation to support accurate and timely submissions to the relevant authorities.
- Support local tax reporting activities and help ensure required information and documentation are available on time.
- Assist the Finance team with tax and statutory audits, revenue audits and internal audits.
- Support the collection and preparation of financial information and documentation required for reporting and audit activities.
- Maintain and archive accounting documents and records in line with internal processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance colleagues and other teams while developing an understanding of how Finance supports the wider adidas business.
Skills you will need
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation or another relevant field.
- Strong interest in finance, accounting and financial processes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for working with numbers and financial data.
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Any previous exposure to financial reporting or financial statements is an advantage.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for working in an international environment.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the internship, you should:
- Be enrolled as a full-time student for the complete duration of the internship, or be in a gap year between your Bachelor's and Master's degree.
- Ideally be in the final year of your studies, with a maximum of one year remaining until graduation following the internship.
- Be available for the full duration of the six-month internship.
