Jr. Manager Regional Visual Merchandising (Greece & Cyprus)

Purpose of the Role

This role is responsible for efficiently organizing and monitoring a team of Visual Merchandising Champions in Own Retail (Concept Stores and Factory Outlets) doors, maximizing the profitability as well as meeting or exceeding VM standards of the assigned doors by ensuring efficient and effective execution of the Europe VM strategy and direction.

 

What you will do

Communication:

  • Share information given by Europe Visual excellence team and Visual Merchandising Manager South East Europe to Own Retail (OR)/Franchise (FRA) partners through trainings and meetings.
  • Understand current needs and give feedback to the VM Sr. Manager SEE regarding partner’s requests.
  • Create directives to internal stakeholders based on the above in order to create strong synergies.

 

Merchandising display:

  • Ensure assigned doors and Own Retail team comply with European standards and guidelines to provide brand shopping experience to all consumers.
  • Ensure all windows are presented to a high standard including mannequins dressing and positioning, lighting direction, cleanliness, steaming and price communication (if applicable).
  • Create clear Shop-in-Shops for emphasizing category presentation with the correct use and positioning of In-Store Communication Tools by supporting and consulting Franchise partners.
  • Ensure correct use and positioning of In-Store Communication Tools in all assigned doors.
  • Give direction on dressing in-store mannequins and placing props correctly.
  • Apply and maintain Brand Retail and VM Standards and train the teams to execute flawlessly.
  • Correct and in time submission of surveys into VM tools including taking and uploading pictures into the system (when applicable).
  • Flawless execution on Marketing activities aligned with marketing department.
  • Keep up to date on competitor analysis as well as current and upcoming fashion trends across the country area.
  • Optimization of full price sell through implementation of Visual Excellence guidance.
  • Take part in the new openings processes, both planning and implementation.
  • Visit retail stores regularly and ensure that visual display standards are in the highest level.
  • Deliver input for development of best practice processes, standards and operational plans for all stores and doors within area of responsibility, to support the implementation of Visual Merchandising standards and guidelines.
  • Support further duties as requested by the VM Manager SEE.

 

 

People Leadership

  • Manage, lead and take ownership for the VM team ensuring that all team members have the knowledge and practical skills required to deliver their roles. In addition, promote a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals to focus the team.
  • Evaluate the competencies of the team members on a regular basis and provide prompt and constructive feedback and assumes a coaching role in order to support and inspire his/her team members.  
  • Take ownership for a consistent Talent Management Process in his/her respective region/division/department to grow talent for leadership positions in his/her own organization and across functional, regional and brand borders.
  • Manage relationships as required between the store teams and the VM Champs.

 

Equipment Control:

  • Return and correctly store unused equipment including fixtures, mannequins, props & graphic frames.
  • Manage fixtures with care to avoid damages.
  • Correctly manage orders of F&F as per partner’s needs.

 

Skills you will need

  • Good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English both verbal and in writing
  • Organizational, planning and project management experience and skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills
  • Geographical mobility across the country
