Associate, Visual Merchandising
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
· Drive sell-through by effectively implementing retail space projects in key doors according to Global/APAC best practice and in a consistent, cost-effective and premium way
· Work closely with VM teams and Marketing team to ensure consistent execution of retail space projects, creating a Market culture of excitement, and desire to win at the point of sale through excellent execution
Key Responsibilities:
· Functional:
1. Drive and coordinate the implementation of retail space management projects throughout the countries
2. Manage collaborative relationships with third parties (e.g. shop suppliers and construction companies)
3. Facilitate a smooth interaction between Distributors, Store Development and all involved trade and retail marketing stakeholders to deliver with speed and excellence
4. Develop space- and account-specific visual merchandising guidelines and provide direction to all Visual Merchandisers to Distributors
5. Coordinate all VM and Store Coaching services during project implementation and follow-up visits in close collaboration
6. Drive, measure and report on retail space productivity and make recommendations to management for continuous improvement in managed spaces
7. Develop a VM-RSM network and a process for best practice sharing (including efficiencies)
8. Gather, consolidate and deliver input on global toolbox performance from Market sub-units into Global Concepts-to-Consumer
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Professional Background/Experience:
o Functional: Preferably 2-3 years experience in Retail, Marketing and/or Project management
o Industry: Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ shoes/ agencies/ retail
o Cultural: Ability to work in international environment
o Exposure: Sports, fashion, retail
• Education:
o Degree in Marketing or related area
o Design background will be an advantage
