Legal Operations Specialist - Fixed Term 6-12 months

Location: Bogota, Colombia
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Responsible for providing legal and compliance services to the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to all functional areas in the country regarding contracts, labor matters, franchising, anti-trust, corporate law, consumer rights, international trade, foreign exchange restrictions, IP matters, criminal cases and all related to legal functions
- Management of labor litigation and any other type of litigation
- Management of consumer complaints
- Ensure compliance with local laws in all markets
- Responsible for providing training in anti-trust, contracts, corrupt practices, fraud and sexual harassment and in general all programed for legal and compliance purposes
- Ensuring that all expenses for legal costs remain within budget.
- Contract drafting
- Contract negotiations
- Responsible for supporting LAM compliance officer the country
- Management and follow up of legal service providers and its payments in the country
- Management of all legal systems implemented to report/workflow of contracts, IP matters, and others.
- Management and follow up of IP matters
- Support to Legal and Compliance Director on all strategies to be implemented.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Understanding of contract administration, legal documentation and corporate legal processes.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements, permits, licenses and administrative procedures.

Ability to review, organize and maintain legal records and documentation with high levels of accuracy.

Understanding of document control, governance processes and risk management principles.

Ability to coordinate legal matters with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Strong capability to manage trackers, databases, deadlines and legal reporting activities.

Experience monitoring critical dates, contractual obligations, renewals and compliance requirements.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify risks, missing documentation and process gaps.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Law degree
- 2-4 years of experience in legal operations, legal support, contract administration, regulatory affairs or related legal roles.
- Experience supporting legal, compliance, regulatory or corporate governance processes.
- Experience managing contracts, legal documentation, permits, licenses, renewals or administrative procedures.
- Experience coordinating with external law firms, consultants, regulatory authorities or service providers.
- Experience preparing trackers, dashboards, status reports and management presentations.
- English proficiency is a MUST
- Experience in law firms is highly value
