Manager Outbound FC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead a well-trained, highly effective Fulfilment Center outbound team to ensure all orders are delivered to the agreed service levels, meeting or exceeding customer expectations. This position is responsible for leading the continuous improvement strategy of the Distribution Center (DC) as the Lean Ambassador for Colombia, driving standardization, operational efficiency, and process optimization at a national level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and control the monthly and daily operational volume of all channels considering sales plan and fulfilment center capacity ensuring maximum optimization of the resources by close working with Customer Service (Wholesales), Allocation and Buying (Direct to Consumer) and Order Fulfilment (Supply Chain and Regional eCommerce) teams.
- Lead and plan together with the 3PL (third party logistic) and Transportation team the outbound resources to achieve the forecasted volumes and priorities ensuring on time and in full delivery to all customer orders.
- Coordinate with the 3PL (third party logistic) and Transportation to meet daily requirements of all customer demands including picking, VAS (valued added services), packing, shipping, delivery and working day exceptions.
- Plan and coordinate eCommerce events and service improvement initiatives or projects, ensuring orders are fulfilled and delivered meeting or exceeding consumer expectations.
- Monitor embellishment process, ensuring the on-time contact with Marketing for free of charge campaigns, correct embellishment platform update and duly cost allocation for involved 3PL services and supplies required.
- Acts as the Lean Ambassador for Colombia, driving Lean adoption, Kaizen culture, problem‑solving, and sustainable operational excellence in the DC through standardization and continuous improvement. Leads the development and implementation of new methods and processes to meet customer needs, enhance compliance, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Lead, propose and implement outbound efficiency plans, coordinating all necessary tasks with 3PL (third party logistic) and Transportation team, to minimize current CPU (cost per unit), improve SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators) ensuring all targets are achieved.
- DC project management: Monitor and follow up the Site improvement Plan (SIP) supporting the implementation of the different initiatives defined for the different areas and processes in the DC looking for cross functional and teamwork environment.
- SAP Key User, providing training and support to all FC (fulfilment center) team and leading contact with Local & Regional IT (Information Technology) to ensure all support is provided in timely manner to guarantee correct fulfilment centre operation.
- Lead direct report to deliver positive operational results. Responsible to provide timely feedback, effectively coaching and empowerment with the purpose of develop Supervisor Outbound career.
- Management, tracking, optimization and reporting for DC operational budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with financial targets.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, Business or Logistics.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, leading world class operations.
- 2 years people management experience
