MANAGER PRODUCT DATA
Working within the Consumer Experience team, this role will be responsible for managing a team of individuals who are ensuring products launch with all the necessary product information and imagery, maintaining existing product metadata, and driving new metadata initiatives in order to deliver best-in-class merchandising across all adidas digital channels. In addition, you and your team will be tasked to optimize existing tools and processes to gain efficiencies with the way we work.
We are looking for a passionate, operationally focused team leader. The candidate should display great attention to detail, team leadership capabilities, strong communication skills locally and globally, and be solution oriented and proactive to ensure a high level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced digital environment.
Our goal is to showcase our products to consumers in the best way possible through product image and product data experiences, and help consumers navigate through the site to find the perfect product for their sport and lifestyle needs. Bringing a product to life on site is an extremely rewarding element of this role as product configurations and metadata are the foundation of our website and APP experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing product metadata and images across our digital touch points for new product launches and existing catalog
- Identify and solve issues with product presentation on site and within the product systems in a fast and solution-oriented manner. Scalability should always be at the forefront
- In collaboration with Sr. Manager, work with Global and Local teams on system enhancements needed to optimize metadata tools and processes to drive efficiency
- Drive PIM (data system) optimizations, in collaboration with Global PO’s, to improve capabilities and user interface
- Manage day-to-day activities while growing a team of individuals with high attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, strong collaboration, who are able to pivot in a fast-paced environment
- Continuously audit product data quality for your area of focus and work with relevant stakeholders on up stream improvements
- Ensure workflows are in place to enable effective execution of team goals
- Monitor, report, and deliver against project timelines and KPIs
- Leverage functional knowledge to improve efficiency and tackle problems from different angles

- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel including pivot tables and v-lookup functionality
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, and Confluence (preferred, but not required)
- Experience with a 3rd party product information management tool (preferred, but not required)
- Fluent English
- Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in ecommerce or product meta data
- Digital Experience highly preferred
- Team Leadership Experience preferred
- Project Management Experience preferred
- Campaign Activation Experience preferred
- adidas Product Knowledge preferred
- BA / BS in Merchandising, Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or related field preferred
