Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Department:
The Senior Manager Market Insights drives high-quality market, consumer, and competitor intelligence to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role synthesizes insights across functions, supports strategic initiatives, and contributes to creating a “data and insights as a strategic asset” mindset across the region.
Key responsibilities:
Generate market, industry, consumer, and competitor insights to inform strategic initiatives.
Develop and maintain tools, processes, and frameworks that elevate the impact of insights across the business.
Consolidate research into a single source of truth to support cross-functional decision-making.
Collaborate with functions (Strategy, Brand, Finance, Markets) to embed insights into planning and execution.
Provide business portfolio insights (categories, channels, markets) to influence key decisions.
Contribute to a unified, region-wide governance model for insights and data consistency.
Leverage country-level feedback to improve business insights and identify growth opportunities.
Maintain and champion usage of insights platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Support conversations with external data vendors and contribute to selection/evaluation of insight tools.
Deliver clear, structured, and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders based on complex data.
Produce monthly and quarterly insight reports for key stakeholders across the region.
Collaborate closely with cross-market analysts to harmonize methodologies, KPIs, and definitions.
Support change initiatives that improve analytics adoption, literacy, and ways of working.
Apply basic advanced analytics skills—forecasting, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and foundational AI concepts—to enhance the robustness and predictive value of insights.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
High attention to detail and data quality.
Strong storytelling and presentation capabilities.
Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
Familiarity with market and consumer insight tools (e.g., Euromonitor, Similarweb, data.ai).
Ability to influence and collaborate across a matrix organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
High resilience, adaptability, and solution-oriented approach.
Understanding of advanced analytics techniques, including forecasting models, sensitivity analysis, scenario management, and introductory AI concepts.
Requisite Education and Experience:
University degree in Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative disciplines.
5+ years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, or related fields.
Experience working cross‑functionally in regional or matrix organizations.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
