Senior Specialist Solution Development

The Senior Specialist Solution Development plays a critical role in accelerating digital transformation across GBS by designing and developing scalable solutions using Power Platform and AI technologies.
This role focuses on translating business needs into automated, data-driven, and intelligent solutions, reducing manual effort, improving process efficiency, and enabling better decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Automation
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Build scalable applications to digitize operational processes and eliminate manual work.
- Develop workflows and automations to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices in performance, scalability, and governance.
- Implement a documentation framework to ensure solution maintainability over time
AI & Advanced Capabilities
- Integrate AI capabilities (e.g., AI Builder, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Machine Learning models) into business solutions.
- Identify use cases where AI can drive value (e.g., prediction, classification, document processing).
- Develop intelligent automations that enhance decision-making and reduce operational risks.
Data & Integration
- Design and implement integrations between systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dataverse, SAP, APIs, Smartsheet).
- Structure and transform data to enable efficient reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with data teams to ensure consistency, quality, and accessibility of data.
Business Partnering
- Work closely with Operations, CI, and Functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions with clear value cases (hours saved, efficiency gains, quality improvement).
- Provide recommendations on solution design and digital opportunities.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify automation and digitalization opportunities across processes.
- Contribute to building reusable components and scalable solutions for global deployment.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously improve technical capabilities.

- Delivery Excellence (CI, Automation, Performance Management, Process Management)
- GBS Operations (Finance, HR, Procurement)
- Global Process Owners (GPOs) and SMEs
- Tech & Digital teams
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in solution development, automation, or digital transformation roles.
Technical Skills (Core Focus of the Role)
- Advanced expertise in Power Platform:
- Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven apps)
- Power Automate (cloud flows, RPA)
- Copilot Studio
- Dataverse
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards)
- Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong knowledge of API integrations and connectors.
- Experience with AI tools and capabilities:
- AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, or similar
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning and LLM concepts
- Strong skills in data transformation and analysis (Excel, Power Query, SQL preferred).
Additional Skills
- Understanding of process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
