Accounting Specialist

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of invoices and expenses, and compliance with company policies and reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record employee expenses and supplier invoices.
• Manage accounts payable activities and related accounting entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end closing activities and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and maintain accounting documentation and records.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment of expenses, accruals, and provisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency.
• Ensure all accounting activities are completed in accordance with company policies and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable, or financial operations.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multinational or shared service environments.
• Knowledge of accruals, provisions, and bank reconciliations.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Maximum 2 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or related functions.
