Please follow the example “Within GBS, the Order to Cash (O2C) process plays a key role in ensuring a smooth customer journey from order placement to payment collection. It supports business growth through standardization, automation, and strong customer focus. The Credit Specialist O2C NAM is responsible for executing credit and collections activities for the North America market, with a strong focus on service level adherence, credit risk awareness, cash flow support, and customer experience. The key objective of the role is to ensure stable and consistent performance across assigned customer portfolios by applying defined credit policies, collection strategies, and operational controls.
The role supports NAM wholesale customers and works closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to balance commercial priorities with financial discipline across the Order-to-Cash cycle. By following established processes and controls, the Credit Specialist contributes to effective cash collection, risk mitigation, and positive customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
•Execute credit and collections activities for assigned NAM customer portfolios, ensuring adherence to internal and customer-facing service level agreements
•Perform collection follow-ups and support resolution of overdue balances in line with defined strategies
•Analyze customer payment behavior and identify drivers of delayed or non-payment
•Support credit reviews, credit limit monitoring, and risk assessments as required
•Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to support order release and dispute resolution
•Escalate credit risks, non-compliance, or recurring issues in line with established guidelines
•Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving cash collection effectiveness, process consistency, and customer experience.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
•Understanding of credit, collections, and Order-to-Cash processes and practical knowledge or hands-on experience in Credit, Collections, Finance, or O2C-related roles
•1–3 years of relevant experience in a credit or collections environment preferred
•Experience supporting wholesale customers or working in a shared services environment is an advantage
•English proficiency required.
•Strong customer focus with clear communication and negotiation skills
•Analytical mindset with attention to detail and risk awareness
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and disciplined manner
•Collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving
