Sr Manager GBS Non Trade Procurement

Non-Trade Procurement in a GBS is responsible for managing and procuring indirect goods and services needed to support business operations, ensuring standardized processes, cost control, policy compliance, and effective supplier management across the organization.   

   

    

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Managing a team of professionals responsible for five main aspects of the Procurement process: Purchase and Invoice Management, Supplier and internal Customer support, Meetings & Events, Purchase Compliance and Fieldglass management.   

  • Set goals, adhere to the agreed SLAs towards the business partners, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.  

  • Work with your teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with the Procurement process and policies (Global Non-Trade Procurement policy and Contingent Workforce Policy). This includes implementing controls to prevent fraud, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and establishing robust internal audit processes.  

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the Procurement process. Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.  

  • Support other regional Hubs and outsourced activities by managing issues that arise, recommending and making improvements to avoid similar issues in the future. Provide trouble shooting, and data analysis to the team.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • University degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling or similar.  

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience in the operational delivery of these services, ideally in a shared service center, with leadership experience of an organization of similar scale and complexity of services. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of E2E-processes for Procurement operated by GBS, including the systems used to support it (SAP, Ariba).  

  • Excellent communication, people management and change management skills as well as ability to manage relationships professionally.  

  • Excellent English language proficiency, spoken and written.  

  • Ability to coach, guide and manage a team in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures.  

  • Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation that can navigate easily within complex organizations, connect with a variety functions, audiences, management styles, or cultures.  

  • Highly results driven and self-motivated team player.  

  • Growth mindset, keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone.
