Sr Specialist GBS Non Trade Procurement

Non-Trade Procurement in a GBS is responsible for managing and procuring indirect goods and services needed to support business operations, ensuring standardized processes, cost control, policy compliance, and effective supplier management across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
•
Execute Tactical Buying process across all categories and support on the Definition and deployment of Sourcing Strategy for the Cluster (Lower thresholds)
•
Support on executing Tactical Buying process across all categories and support on the Definition and deployment of Sourcing Strategy for the Cluster (higher threshold) when required
•
Stakeholder management to maximize savings and Procurement’s value contribution
•
Supporting in contract management activities and ensuring, when required, a proper supplier relationship management
•
Assure achieving of Procurement compliance targets including policies, strategies, and processes
•
Deliver committed annual Procurement savings and Global Business Services SLA and KPI’s
•
Hands on driving of Continuous Improvement initiatives
•
Consolidate requirements and act as business partner for business/ other functions,
•
Benchmark Procurement best practices to drive Continuous Improvement
•
Support in building categories specific execution plans in alignment with relevant stakeholders
•
Align sourcing plan to financial budget and business strategies
•
Support on category strategy implementation, including execution of defined sourcing initiatives (as per the 7 steps strategic sourcing methodology) & realization of annual savings targets
•
Ensure clear understanding, implementation & role modelling of savings methodology & reporting
•
Develop internal and external analysis (industry and supplier)
•
Lead contract implementation and drive contract compliance.
•
Drive supplier selection and fact-based negotiations as per adidas negotiation methodology
•
Lead RfX execution: Select supplier and drive fact-based negotiations as per adidas sourcing and negotiation methodology

• Global Teams to ensure alignment and coordination across different functions. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
•
A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in business, economics, finance, procurement or legal, or comparable professional education
•
Minimum 2 to 4 years’ professional experience in a similar functional domain or other related positions, with knowledge of category / market at hand; experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting
• Advanced knowledge of sourcing execution strategies, approaches and methods, as well as contract management and procure to pay processes
• Experience in one of the following categories highly desirable: IT/ Professional services / Marketing / Facility management
• Good ability to analyze specifications and influence demand
• Good knowledge of selected categories, category strategy development, compliance management and analytics
• Knowledge of supplier management and project management
• Ability to analyze problems and conclude decisions
• Great communication skills and the capability to independently interact with different stakeholders
• Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self-management
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written
• Availability to work extended business hours is mandatory
