Sr. Manager Demand Planning
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To support the creation of the Integrated Business Plan (IBP)/ Operational Demand Plan (ODP) and Inventory management of the Business Segments.
To provide thorough analysis of the Biz segments in order to guarantee understanding of the BU´s numbers in LAM.
To support the Demand Plan and Supply chain alignment of Biz Segments by providing visibility and availability to the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align Go-to-Market guides of the Biz Segments in order: (GTM Guides: Quarterly Biz Split; Articles with Allocation; One shot Buy; Size curve Intelligence; Minimums vol forecasted; One Calendar articles) to grant a feasible (logistically) and aligned with strategy (BU and Channels) demand plan
- Drive the Open-to-Buy alignment between Biz Segments/Channel/Country to give clear guides to the channels and BU to start their range definition and how much can they buy for the season
- Create the RDP (rolling demand plan) process of the Biz Segments accross channels and countries to grant the Biz Segments planning throughout the process and alignment with BU expectations
- Deploy margin analysis of the Biz Segments across channel/countries to triggers forecast adjustments to increase range profitability
- Influence inventory management of the Biz Segments by analyzing excess inventory to take fast decisions on cutting buy and/or accelerate sales
- Drive communication of the Biz Segments numbers (NS, SM, VOL, RDP) to Sr. Manager DP to assure common language increasing productivity in calls and meetings
- Influence Biz Segments on tactical decisions on channels and articles to improve its financial results
- Develop a common language with Supply Chain and Biz Segments to bring clarity to the Biz Segments of what DP have requested vs. what was actually purchased and arriving
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 Years of experience
- English Proficiency B2 or above
- Strong background in finance an demand planning
- Stakeholder management across different levels on the organization
