Within GBS, the Finance Operations process plays a key role in ensuring correct and daily execution of 
financial and accounting responsibilities in the GBS center according to the policies, procedures, and 
guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific areas of responsibility.


Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure regular operation tasks/month -end-close running smoothly and accurately. 
• Supervise the daily operations of the team.
• Review BSR on time and open item follow up with high quality for both markets (NAM & LAM)
• Monitoring and following up on differences between systems interfaces for fixed assets and 
IFRS16.
• Maintain a complete and accurate RTR in accordance with accounting principles and reporting 
schedules within established deadlines (monthly/ daily) for standard accounts.
• Coordinate with business partners (Controlling; FP&A and Local Finance, GPO’s, GBS streams etc.) 
to obtain needed information and ensure process steps are executed properly.
• Coordinate documentation for year -end audit and internal audit for standard accounts. 
• Global policy and operation process deep understanding and i nternal team training and cross -
function knowledge sharing.
• Ensure team management including coaching, training, motivation and performance appraisal 
guidance
• Ensure the KPI’s compliance according to the Global standards. 
• Project involvement includes global/GBS center/team projects and identify opportunities for 
continuous process improvement.
• Signal contact person of key process for fixed assets and right of use as SME, including data 
gathering and analysis cross legal entities.
• Complete other financial and accounting tasks assigned.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree or equivalent education required
• Minimum 5 years’ financial and accounting experience 
• Experience in a Shared Service environment is an advantage
• Team management skills.
• Strong accounting expertise focused on IFRS. 
• Good knowledge in the use of SAP, Microsoft office – Word, Excel and PowerBI
• Intermediate English level
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills
• Self -motivated and self -directed individual.
• Good communication skills / good team player.
