Purpose of the role
Support the delivery of high-quality HR Services and payroll processes in Romania, ensuring an efficient employee experience, accurate administration and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.
What you will do
- Handle standard and complex HR inquiries from employees, HR, Finance and third parties through the ticketing service and, where required, by phone.
- Prepare HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, mobility documentation, promotions and offboarding documents, in line with defined processes and standards.
- Manage bulk document creation and distribution and maintain accurate personnel and organizational data, including mass data uploads.
- Ensure HR documents are accurately digitalized and archived in accordance with defined processes and standards.
- Administer local employee benefits and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Execute standard and complex payroll activities according to defined processes, schedules, service levels and applicable regional and local requirements.
- Provide employee lifecycle data to the payroll provider, validate payroll outputs and ensure accurate payroll calculations.
- Prepare required payroll reports and declarations and coordinate with tax authorities, social security institutions and other relevant state authorities.
- Support the Manager HR and Payroll, South East Europe in internal and external audits and provide the required documentation and data.
What you will need
- University degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR Services, HR administration and/or payroll, ideally within an international matrix organization.
- Good understanding of Romanian employment, payroll and applicable legal regulations.
- Experience working with an external payroll provider and supporting payroll processes.
- Strong digital skills and experience with HR systems; SAP HR experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage high volumes of transactional and administrative work while maintaining quality and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
