Senior Specialist Analytics (Wholesale Channel) EMC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Senior Specialist Wholesale Analytics EMC will deliver reporting and analytics services to all cluster stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions. The role will focus on driving the implementation of analytics tools, maintaining data quality, and ensuring a robust analytical framework across EMC’s Wholesale operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Sourcing & Management: Take full accountability for sourcing and managing Cluster data, ensuring data accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
- Sell-In & Sell-Out Reporting: Conduct regular and detailed Sell In & Sell Out reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Data Analysis:
- o Prepare insightful data analysis for the account and cluster Wholesale teams:
- Account and Cluster business performance (Sell In & Sell Out)
- Sell Out analysis based on defined retail KPIs
- Marketing campaign performance analysis
- Range analysis and quantitative assortment optimization
- o Prepare insightful data analysis for the account and cluster Wholesale teams:
- Innovative Sales Concepts: Develop and propose innovative sales concepts and solutions to drive growth.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor and report on customer and competitor activities, proposing and taking necessary actions.
- Collaboration with Global Teams: Partner with the Global and EM Wholesale business analytics teams, providing local insights to enhance reporting structures and share best practices across regions.
- Market Share Growth: Drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned accounts, while adhering to the adidas Group brand image.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience in Analytics and Business intelligence in Retail
- Experience in Retail Merchandising, including Planning, Trading & Buying, and Category Management: Preferred for the role.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth understanding of the footwear, apparel, and accessories/equipment sectors
- Strong knowledge of local markets, consumers, and account needs
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in deadline-driven environments
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skills and Power BI
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Retail & Business intelligence
- Sporting goods industry experience is a plus
- Experience with data and visualization techniques
- Passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving processes, and solving problems.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
