Senior Specialist Systems & Tools (Marketing Operations)
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
Support the execution of Marketing Operations Systems & Tools processes across EMC, with a strong focus on article data quality, seasonal system readiness, automation, reporting, issue resolution, and process improvement.
The role helps ensure accurate and timely execution of seasonal activities across key systems and tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute seasonal MOPS Systems & Tools activities, submissions, and readiness checks according to agreed timelines and milestones.
- Maintain task trackers, seasonal calendars, checklists, and process documentation.
- Perform regular Article Master Brand Details and Stock Master Brand checks and updates across SAP, M-3, reporting files, and other relevant systems.
- Run regular system reports, review the results, and coordinate required follow-up actions.
- Run and maintain approved automation files, macros, bots, and standardized templates.
- Raise and follow up on tickets with IT and system-support teams.
- Maintain process descriptions, user instructions, and the Systems & Tools Playbook.
- Collaborate with Category managers, SCM, Customer Service, Finance, Sales Excellence, IT, and other relevant teams.
- Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation and Power Query.
- Understanding of macros, scripts, queries, and bot workflows would be an advantage, including the ability to define business logic, inputs, outputs, and validation rules.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools, such as SAP and Power BI.
- Good stakeholder communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to document processes clearly and maintain user-friendly instructions.
- At least two years of relevant experience in operations, systems, data, business analysis, marketing operations, supply chain operations, or a related field.
