Financial Analyst F, P&A
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Financial Analyst (FP&A) to provide support with financial planning, analysis, reporting, and data input in compliance to adidas Group finance policies and guidance. This requires a good understanding of the business, accurate and timely reporting as well as in-depth analysis combined with competent and professional business partnering. Good comprehension of a complex business model and working with multiple currencies & legal structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the F, P&A team with accurate, timely and in-depth monthly and ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Data input for planning processes (forecast, budget, IBP, SBP) and support the monthly financial closing in line with adidas Group standards/policies.
- Monthly review, in-depth analysis and controlling of key P&L items to ensure accurate reporting.
- Proactively identify key process and system issues by analyzing and comparing data from different sources of information.
- Strong collaboration with F, P&A and local finance team to support strict global and local deadlines.
- Preparation of monthly local financial results and business update presentations.
KPI’s:
- Timely submission of routine Financial and Management Reports
- Accuracy of actual reporting and forecasts validation
- Validation of budget inputs based on actual and forecast reporting
- Meet reporting deadlines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Business understanding of processes and structure.
- Strong Analytical skills, comfort with Finance and Accounting principles and good financial statement analysis ability.
- Multi-tasking with different levels of complexity by developing effective plans and organizing work efficiently.
- Desire to work collaboratively with teams across the business
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Pro-active and results orientated.
- Ability to accept and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in consistently changing environment.
- Good analytics by managing large data quantities from multiple sources (SAP, Excel, BI).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business administration with focus on Finance/Controlling with solid commercial experience.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- SAP & BI experience is an advantage.
- 2-4 years of experience in the same or similar field.
- Solid accounting skills and experience.
- Industry experience: ideally in retail/apparel/fashion/consumer goods.
