Junior Business Development Manager - EM South
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
As Senior Specialist Business Development, you support the execution of adidas’ strategic business plan by supporting on key strategic initiatives as well as cross-functional projects in Emerging Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Process Management:

Act as a key player in driving and supporting cross functional initiatives

Effectively deploy project management toolkit to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables

Coordinate/support collaborative global and local projects, process improvements, new tools’ implementation and best-practice sharing that are in alignment with the strategies and priorities of the organisation
Head Office & Insights:

Provide input into business proposals and presentations to key stakeholders

Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the business

Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, channel trends and consumer preferences

Generate insights to inform strategic thinking and innovation
Key Relationships:

EM Business Development community
-
EM South Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR teams

Key stakeholders identified for specific projects and initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in target countries

Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently

Good interpersonal skills (e.g., communication, stakeholder management)

Fluency in written and spoken English essential. Additional languages are a benefit
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration ideally with focus on Sales/Marketing/Finance

5 years’ experience in a cross functional strategic role, commercial functions, project management, sales or general management would be beneficial

Leadership: experience of project lead responsibility
