Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
- To ensure profitable market share and net sales growth within the Sports and DPC pillar while respecting the image of the adidas Group brands
- To passionately assist the Wholesale organisation in identifying, developing and implementing strategies for the profitable growth of the adidas Group brands
Key Responsibilities
- Support and drive the Market Excellence strategy across your specified accounts within the Sport and DPC pillar.
- Key focus on DPC partner AMAZON
- Ensure the best possible Net Sales result; constant tracking of results; analysis of risks & new business opportunities
- Execute the overall strategy for customers in specific markets and channels based on Global and Market strategies
- Ensure the specified accounts in the Sport and DPC pillar are applying available adidas Group standards and best practices.
- Support where necessary in the negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms
- Ensure all customers are segmented correctly
- Manage and execute on action plans in order to win market share within designated markets
- Measure progress on defined KPIs
- Monitor and report on customers and competitors sell-through and activities, and propose/initiate/take actions
- Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer’s performances where necessary
- Oversee and manage store developments in relevant markets
- Track overall market conditions including pricing parity and duty structures
- On boarding of new accounts as the need arises
- Ensure customer contracts /TT’s and due diligence is up to date

- External: Customers, Agencies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Representative with proven track record of successfully managing accounts and relationships in large sales organizations
- Direst to Consumer (Ecom, Franchise/Retail, or DPC) exposure and understanding
- Analytical skills for business planning and decision planning
- Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communication and negotiating abilities
- High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge (e.g. sales, retail, trade marketing, customer service, finance and controlling)
- Strong decision taking and determination and shows high initiative and pragmatism to the business
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in business with marketing and sales focus
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience within large sales organisations, ideally in apparel/fashion or FMCG
- IT skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word
- Availability to travel to key markets when required
