Business Analyst - Continuous Improvement

Business analysts are independent contributors who are the drivers of the continuous improvement agenda. With their ability to hunt for process inefficiency and identifying root causes they improve the organisational efficiency and productivity. We’re currently searching for an experienced business analyst to help guide our organization to the future. From understanding business complexity and solution proposal to evaluating and realising the impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. The person should be committed to the discovery and development of process solutions through standard approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Support workstreams to identify and manage ESSA initiatives as per the priority

Facilitating Improvement Boards, establishing Performance Metrics, and conducting Maturity Assessments

Analyse performance metrics, KPIs, user data to find trends, root causes and efficiency

Map As-Is processes, identify waste, and recommend future-state workflows across workstreams

Maintain documentation to track and report-out assignments, ensuring transparency

Support workshops like Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping where required

Identifying process efficiency initiatives and support in adoption of best practices

Facilitate continuous improvement training and support to build CI program

Leverage tools and platforms (like process mining) to identify suboptimal processes and propose alternatives to eliminate inefficiencies

Keep on top of the new technologies and art-of-the-possible
Required skills and qualifications:
-
About 7+ years of overall experience, with 3+ in continuous improvement and/or automation

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

Strong understanding of BPMN (or equivalent) process mapping notations
-
Lean Six Sigma certifications advisable (green belt preferrable)

Proven analytical abilities including root-cause-analysis

Experience in VSM, Kaizen workshop, process mapping and documentation

Comprehensive understanding of E2E processes in Global Business Services
Preferred skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science

Extensive experience with analytical abilities

Working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including lean platforms

Familiar with the Lean, Six Sigma approach

Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and delivery
-
Efficient in Problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Familiarity with conducting lean training and workshop
