Sr. Specialist - Customer Lifecycle

Global Business Services (GBS) aims to provide globally unified services based on standardized and automated solutions across different functions and markets. This will enable us to drive operational efficiency, quality services, improved agility and better decision-making whilst reducing complexity and workload.

Customer Lifecycle ensures all Customer and Price related data is maintained accurately in SAP. The team maintains and sets up all master data for Customers and Price and communicate data and process requirements where required. The team assist in systems or process initiatives relating to master data and well as performing ad hoc analysis.

The Senior Specialist – Customer Data is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely management of customer master data across systems. The role acts as a subject-matter expert for customer data processes, supports business stakeholders, drives continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to governance, audit, and control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end customer master data processes, including creation, maintenance, extension, and validation across SAP and reporting systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in line with global data standards and policies.
  • Enforce customer data governance rules, approval flows, and implementation of the data. 
  • Support audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs.
  • Act as a key point of contact for market teams, finance, credit, sales, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation to improve efficiency and turnaround time.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Customer Master Data, Finance Operations, or Data Governance.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems (AFS, MDG)
  • Solid understanding of finance-related data elements, including billing, shipping, payment terms, tax, and credit.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-market environment.
