Manager Ecom EMC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The ecommerce manager is accountable for driving growth and operational excellence across own-managed and franchise ecommerce platforms. Ensure superior consumer experience, optimized trading performance, and seamless post-order operations across platforms. Align franchise partners with global brand standards while adapting to local market needs. Act as the key link between EM hub & Local cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and implement the eCommerce Strategy on cluster level across EMC (Emerging Markets Central) to achieve ambitious net sales and profitability targets for both own & franchise ecommerce platforms
- Responsible for commercial decisions at cluster level by analyzing eCommerce KPIs and local trends and needs.
- Identify and execute with merch the product-driven opportunities to maximize revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with EMC Brand and DTC teams to enhance site traffic and conversion rates.
- Ensure an outstanding end-to-end customer journey, from pre-purchase through post-order operations.
- Ensure customer service queries are resolved with relevant teams within defined SLAs, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Partner with EM Analytics and Customer Experience (CX) teams to analyze data and drive continuous improvements in user experience (UX) and conversion.
- Ensure end-to-end operations of eCommerce capabilities through the defined operating model with EM eCom hub, global digital teams, and internal key stakeholders.
- Operationally manage cluster-level special projects geared towards enhancing the consumer experience (Premium, Connected, Personalized).
- Develop deep consumer insights to support decision-making.
- Liaise with DTC to deliver a more seamless omnichannel experience for consumers.
- Align with other Cluster channels on campaign launches, mega commercial moments, end-of-season sales, and discounting standards (key trade meetings).
- Ensure best-in-class content execution, including English and Arabic site translation consistency.
- Work with Hub planning and execution teams to ensure all eCom targets across all regions (sell-out KPIs such as topline, conversion rates, traffic, stock cover, profitability and others) for own eCommerce are in line with market expectations.
- Identify and prioritize market-specific growth opportunities.
- Drive weekly, monthly, Quarterly business reviews and reporting .
- Manage the development projects & launch of new platforms

- EM HUB eCommerce teams (Planning & Forecasting, Digital Analytics, Consumer Experience, Digital operations, Strategy & Programs)
- EMC functional teams (SCM, Brand activations, performance marketing, DTC, Merch, Finance, Franchise)
- Franchise partners and external vendors
- Internal & External technology solution providers
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bias to action with strong accountability and drive for results.
- Strategic thinking and ability to transform thoughts into effective problem statements and related workstream management.
- Comfortable in a dynamic Run-The-Business environment requiring fast action and decisions.
- Very strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels, both in person and remotely, with the ability to influence and achieve results.
- Strong understanding of digital business and ecommerce operations, including product launches, master data management, consumer experience metrics and technology.
- Commercial mindset with experience in trading, merchandising, forecasting and P&L management.
- Advanced analytical skills; experience with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Power BI).
- Ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Structured, organized, and process oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in oral and written English & Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Digital/eCommerce.
- Experience in commercial environments and decision intelligence development is preferred.
- Experience managing teams and driving optimization strategies in ecommerce business.
