Public Relations Officer- For UAEN
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Within the framework of HR Services, the role provides professional HR service delivery and business support across labour and immigration-related processes. As HR Services strives to combine competent and professional business partnering with continuous service enhancement in an efficient, compliant, and value-adding manner, this role plays a vital part in achieving these objectives by coordinating and managing all labour and immigration formalities for full-time, temporary, and part-time employees within adidas Emerging Markets LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all visa and immigration processes, including new visa applications, renewals, cancellations, transfers, medical fitness tests, passport expiries, and related formalities for all employees.
- Process labour contracts, medical tests, Emirates ID applications, immigration applications, and other government-related transactions through authorised government systems and service centres.
- Prepare and manage expense reports, ensuring adequate funds are available for all new applications, renewals, and government-related transactions.
- Coordinate with governmental bodies, including and not limited to GPSSA, GDRFA, MOHRE etc for any Emiratization related matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records on the relevant labour systems, ensuring compliance with applicable quotas and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the PRO service providers and monitor the daily progress of all applications to ensure timely completion and resolution of outstanding matters.
- Monitor and communicate updates from government authorities regarding changes to labour, immigration, visa, and other employment-related regulations, keeping the HR Services Department informed of new requirements and procedures.
- Maintain and monitor employee records, including labour contracts, visas, passports, and expiry dates, and proactively communicate upcoming renewals to employees and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all labour contracts, Emirates ID copies, passports, visas, photographs, certificates, and other required documents are accurately maintained on the employee files.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding visa, labour, immigration, and other government-related formalities.
- Provide general PRO support to internal departments for activities requiring interaction or coordination with local government authorities.
- Process police permissions, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), attestations, and other government-required documents in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Coordinate document attestation requirements with relevant government authorities and service centres.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to enquiries through ticket service, email & phone relating to PRO, labour, visa, and immigration matters, ensuring a high level of service to employees and internal stakeholders.
- Identify and utilise available resources, systems, and processes effectively to improve turnaround times, optimise costs, and enhance the efficiency of PRO and immigration services.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the HRS Department as required.
- Ensure strict confidentiality, accuracy, and security of all company and employee documents and personal information.
- Timely execute assigned tasks and issues according to defined processes, timetables and service levels in compliance with GBS KPIs.
- Identify improvement potential in all HR Services processes and administer the implementation of the improvements.
- Ensure correct execution of laws and regulations with regards to specific employee master data and

- Participate regularly in workshops and meetings held by subject matter experts within HR Services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- UAE Local laws, regulations and procedures.
- MS office: Excel and MS outlook are a must.
- Experience in using government online application systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Fluency in English & Arabic is a must

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of overall work experience in dealing with the local authorities and public sector.
- Own car and driving license.
