Senior Manager Operational Demand Planning EM
Purpose and Relevance for the organization:
Your task as Senior Manager Operational Demand Planning (ODP) EM, is to establish the Operational Demand Planning process across EM. As the ODP Rollout across EM continues, there is a need to setup and train teams, setup systems (APO) and establish processes within clusters to support active demand planning.
Our first objective is to lay down a first Rolling Demand Plan (RDP) by recruiting ODP Teams, setting up APO (legacy) and building a robust MILO/DILO/SILO process to support the demand signalling for supply planning and the purchasing of inventory. The second part of this process is to support the actualization of the plan by measuring the buying volumes (MFC vs MBV) to forecast, followed by the utilization of Inventory in season (to improve profitability and cashflow)
Once we have established a basic level of Operational Demand Planning, the focus shifts to centralized decision support by building better analytics and create the link between global DP/SP and the clusters within EM.
Future Planning Solution (FPS) will be the next step as we move into our new environment using the established Operational Demand Planning skills and processes to make the shift into the end to end solution more seamless.
