Senior Manager Sales Academy EMC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible for contributing to commercial targets by identifying and analyzing the training needs of all sales channels and developing a strategic plan to include training delivery and training programs to drive the business in alignment with global sales and business strategy
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the team of EMC training managers and their extended training team across EMC markets and ensure consistency and quality of training implementation
- Own and manage the EMC training calendar for the mentioned markets and ensure timely implementation of programs as per EM SA & Global SA guidelines to drive results in alignment with global sales and business objectives
- Lead the revision of training materials received from global / EM and adapt the training content to meet local requirements while maintaining the learning objectives to ensure consistent delivery across mentioned markets
- Oversee the quality assurance of multi-language translation of training materials when required
- Ensure that retail teams across mentioned countries possess the skills and functional knowledge to provide premium customer service and drive business KPI’s
- Support Franchise training operations based on adidas standards to develop teams, drive business KPI’S and create a premium service culture
- Support Wholesale training operation for seasonal product learning across key, strategic and alliance accounts across EMC
- Provide feedback and consultancy on program content & execution to EM & Global SA when required
- Lead and manage local initiatives as agreed with DTC Lead
- Leverage technology & modern training tools across markets and champion innovation in training
- Manage and optimize training budget across EMC markets
- Encourage continuous improvement by constantly monitoring and sharing best practices across EMC and upwards with EM & Global SA
- Support individual and team development through upskilling initiatives & learning communities
- Collaborate and partner with HRBP for launch and execution of key retail HR initiatives
- Manage and facilitate communication and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership group in EMC
- Conduct market visits periodically to support implementation and observe retail behaviour

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in instructional design, content & program development is a plus
- Advanced MS office skills in particular PowerPoint and excel, innovative tools such as Canva, Prezi & Mentimeter are a plus
- Highly integrative with strong business mind, data focus and results orientation
- Solid business acumen and proven track record of increasing retail & sales KPI’s through training and development programs
- Enthusiastic with strong work ethic with flexible approach
- Creative and able to come up with innovative training solutions and ideas
- Consumer-centric, approachable, and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong team player with an international mindset
- Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel when required across mentioned markets
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a multinational organization preferably in retail sales training / learning & development role with operations background with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- University degree in Business /HR /L&D or any related field
- Advanced user of MS-office
- Fluency in English (both written & verbal), Arabic is an asset
