Senior Specialist Consumer Excellence EMC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
This role is responsible for maximising the profitability of the Retail & Franchise Sales organization by managing projects to decrease complexity, increase productivity and ensure corporate compliance at field level for all stores across EMC Countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the EMC Sr.Retail Consumer Excellence Manager to deliver on large scale strategic projects and operational consistencies across EMC Countries inclusive of own retail and franchise.
- Independently take ownership of assigned project work to ensure the delivery of project plans on time and within agreed objectives.
- Complete pre-project analysis, capturing current processes and practices across EMC countries and seek out existing best in class resources from Global and other markets.
- Build comprehensive plans for each project including success measures from all stakeholders, commercial implications, and timelines.
- Develop E2E projects based on business priorities outlined by leadership alongside identifying untapped excellence opportunities to help gain market value.
- To lead & support on key retail & franchise initiatives/projects across EMC Stores.
- Gain feedback and buy in from key stakeholders on policy/project drafts to ensure end product is understood and supported.
- Track progress of ongoing initiatives.
- Work closely with Local Operations (Retail) and Account Managers (Franchise) on KPI opportunities and initiative needs to help achieve top line success.
- Drive a culture of sharing and adopting global best practices across all EMC countries, alongside identifying cross channel opportunities and a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Train retail staff in the operation of tools, methods and Global/Market initiatives directed by the Global and EM Retail Consumer Excellence teams.
- Conduct frequent trade zone visits across all assigned EMC countries.
- Collaborate closely with local operations, account partners, store development, and inventory ontrollers to enhance back of house operations, layouts and management across EMC.
- Deep dive existing operational tools utilized across EMC to review opportunities for enhancements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
- Strong influential skills and understanding of the organization
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Arabic is advantageous
- Additional languages are an advantage
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, stakeholders and drive end-to-end project delivery.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business, ideally with sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
- 4-5 years Retail operations experience.
- Understanding of Retail, Franchise, Inventory Management, Finance, Internal Control, Merchandising.
- Industry experience in Sports/Fashion/FMCG.
