Intern, Planning (6-month Program)
Internship Overview
- This is an internship with a 6-month program
- Availability of at least 3 working days per week
- Commencement in January 2026
Purpose
- Independently drive the factory planning team in one Operation Center with one or more production locations
- Match supply to demand at the right time to safeguard product availability
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of all standard planning processes in the Operation Center
- Lead the factory team to achieve high product availability by improving planning quality and timeliness
- Enhance capacity reliability, product transfer execution, order confirmation, production and shipping accuracy
- Provide efficient and effective solutions to customer requests
- Manage day-to-day production with Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring planning directions and priorities are executed effectively
- Consider manufacturing constraints at both Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels when making planning decisions
- Collaborate with factory business/material purchasing departments, Tier 2 suppliers, 3PL, label providers, etc.
- Identify bottlenecks and provide corrective actions to improve supplier delivery performance
- Verify overall planning reliability of factories, focusing on order confirmation, delivery date accuracy, and shipping/invoicing accuracy
- Drive on-time approval of additional mold requests (FTW)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong influencing, people, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good data analysis skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience
- Diploma or degree in a related field
