Manager Buying & Merchandising (MBC)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- Deciding and recommending the most consumer centric range assortments for Channel & Accounts to deliver Net Sales targets across Key Accounts, Fashion Specialty & Field Accounts
- Lead in-season stock management by ensuring focusing on Inwards, Product Launches, Sell-outs management and Replenishments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assortment Planning by building seasonal assortment plans to ensure preorder targets are met and incremental opportunities are created.
- OTB planning to create sub-category, gender level buy-plans based on historical data and future potential. Also, ensuring that insights are shared & agreed to improve buys and mitigation of gaps.
- Lead and drive end to end GTM process and deliver all key milestones like range width, CR1, CR2, range planning allocations, pre-buy alignment meeting, partner reviews, sell-in-tools management, sell-in-strategy and presentations, buying guidelines for all categories including footwear, apparel and accessories.
- Budget Planning & Demand forecasting keeping in mind the targeted growth, category contribution across Channels.
- Partner Segmentation model i.e. to support different product strategy creation to ensure differentiation across platforms and reduce cannibalization.
- Product Performance Management with focus on inwards, sell-in, sell-outs, ST & refills.
- Building relationships with cross functional teams including, Ops, T&A, CTC, SCM, Marketing, etc. for campaign launches, deliveries, GTM calendar activities, ERP, etc.
- Leading Initiatives & Product Gaps end-to-end basis market & partner insights.
- Collaborating with Omni team on marketing calendar, Stores & Key Product Launch Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent attention to detail and analysis skills
- Strong work ethic willing to put long hours of work when required
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Excellent command of English
- Structured, process oriented at the same time approachable and strong interpersonal skills
- SAP Retail, ALS knowledge is a strong advantage
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- PG Degree/Diploma in Business or Fashion
- 6+ years of merchandising experience or strong operations background.
