Manager People Intelligence

PURPOSE

As a Manager People Intelligence, you will play a vital role in ensuring the availability of high-quality and impactful reports and dashboards. You will also be responsible for generating insights for various stakeholders and leadership team based on data from our internal systems as well as external market trends to enable data-driven decisions being taken.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to a comprehensive people reporting and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives supporting assigned area of responsibility (e.g. HR COEs (Talent, Rewards, …), Markets, Functions, …)
  • Partner with Product Owners, HR CoE, HR business partners, and other key stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and requirements.
  • Manage demand and drive assessment of need for new initiatives within the specific HR area.
  • Design and develop insightful and visually compelling reports and dashboards to provide regular updates on various HR metrics to stakeholders, incl. senior leadership team.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and actionable for stakeholders.
  • Support development and maintenance of HR quantum in Databricks as an HR lakehouse platform in collaboration with TECH
  • Contribute to discussions to identify areas for improvement, address data-related inquiries, and deliver customized reporting solutions.
  • Support in-depth analysis of data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights to enable data-driven decision making within HR.
  • Proactively measure data quality, consistency, and integrity in reporting and drive data quality improvements by transparency, training and data quality control measures by collaborating with GBS, TECH, and other teams to streamline data collection and maintenance processes.
  • Explore emerging technologies to improve reporting and analytics capabilities (e.g. AI)
  • Maintain relationship with other analytics departments to ensure company-wide data, governance and analytics strategies and technologies are leveraged within HR to create synergies.
  • Drive data literacy and upskilling on analytics within HR Organization.
  • Ensure data is used in governed and ethical way by collaborating closely with Legal, Data Privacy and Labor Relations teams as well as Works Council.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Managers at adidas play a critical role in the execution of the priorities and core services of the HR function at adidas. They support a single-business-unit or region, in some cases extending across the organization and are functional experts who demonstrate subject matter expertise, and take strong personal ownership over the delivery of great (final) work product and results. They have the ability to blend functional expertise with a comprehensive view of the bigger picture. They are able to prioritize without losing sight of the overarching goals. Our Managers are skilled at capturing data from a variety of sources and analyze and interpret the findings as well as presenting those findings to the business and HR leaders. They influence based on subject matter expertise and offers relevant (external) insights for input to business strategy discussions. They support their leadership in setting expectations and standards and coach others through change and transformation.

 

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting or other BI field.
  • Understanding of HR Data domain is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret large data sets to generate insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in any leading BI and analytics tool (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, SAC, ...)
  • Understanding of data manipulation through languages (R, Python, …) or tools (Alteryx, KNIME, …) is a plus.
  • Experience with Databricks and SQL is a plus
  • Solid understanding of data privacy and security regulations and practices (GDPR, ..) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data quality issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of HR data systems and tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, … is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
