Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: This role is responsible for conducting weekly product analysis and making recommendations to the business by reviewing sales & stock, best & worst sellers in order to maximize sales and profitability of the franchise channel store fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining and evolving all merchandising analytics suite for EM Retail Franchise.
• Define merchandising reporting solutions for franchise channels and build recommended assortment for partners in collaboration with Snr. Manager FRA utilizing trade terms.
• Analyze every aspect of best sellers and worst sellers, in season stock cover management and in season reactivity and provide recommendations based on analysis.
• Drive generation of accurate reporting and sales recaps, weekly and ad hoc, including brand initiative products.
• Participate in weekly trading meetings. Make call outs of missed opportunities in the business.
• Identify and support with promotional opportunities at the category, concept, collection, and article level to maximize sales for both pre-season and in season for all tiers and regions.
• Construct and deliver daily, weekly and monthly metrics reports.
• Provide fact-based product input and feedback for internal/external stakeholders.
• Manage the Weekly sales & stock intake process and provide key insights on stock/sales.
• Evaluate seasonal option plan in line with Space Management (pre-season). • Be the SPOC and expert for Power BI. KPI’s: Net Sales, Sell-through, Margin, Markdown and Weeks cover
The ideal candidate:
• Strong passion for product and the “science” of merchandising
• Understanding of retail merchandising is a must
• Very advanced MS office skills (Excel is a must) and any other retail merchandising process & tool is a clear advantage
• Expertise Power BI is an advantage
• Ability to create automated and articulated reports valued to the business by synthesizing complex data and translate it in key insights
• Is fast paced, proactive and energetic
• Can work effectively within a diverse, agile team environment and under pressure
• Has excellent analytical and communication skills
• Has a strong trading mindset, with an entrepreneurial flair to maximize business opportunities.
• Fluent in English and other language(s) is an advantage
• Functional skills in Retail/Merchandising/Buying in Own Retail and/or eCommerce environments
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree Marketing / Business/ Sales focus/ Economics
• 2-3 years merchandising experience – similar capacity
• Previous experience in merchandising and/or product marketing
