Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

This role supports the execution of the European DTC Buying and Product strategy for Bricks and Mortar Factory Outlets and eCom Outlet across defined business units, contributing to qualitative, sustainable, and profitable growth. Key metrics for measuring success — in addition to financial KPIs — include Product ROS/Sell-thru, Markdown/Margin %, Segmentation Ranging Targets, and Range Adoption compliance. A key focus of this role is strong organisational and communication skills, as well as keen attention to detail, in order to effectively support the broader team and processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the execution of seasonal and long-term product strategies based on the Factory Outlet/Retail strategy and aligned with overall Product and Trading guidance. 
  • Contribute to building and maintaining strong relationships with wider DTC, BU & Assortment Planning product teams, both Global and local. 
  • Contribute to the full product lifecycle process in line with agreed KPI targets and objectives. 
  • Provide analysis to help implement end-to-end guidance for all aspects of DTC Factory Outlets Buying and Ranging under the direction of the Director, including: 
    • Planned production ranges and volumes in line with OTB targets for both B&M and e-com Outlet. 
    • Excess stock selection and returns aligned with targets and IDL. 
    • Accurate forecasting for seasonal and monthly buy sign-off plans. 
  • Provide analysis to help implement end-to-end price management guidance for defined categories, distribution channels and stores—from initial pricing to markdown management based on sell-through and markdown targets. 
  • Assist in creating Product and Trading guidance for defined categories, ensuring channel/market/segmentation-based and localized range management with lifecycle management and store-by-store range plans for Planned Production. 
  • Provide data & analysis to inform Factory Outlet Excellence (Retail Marketing and VM) on product plans/strategies, digital content, ISC, brand campaigns and load-ins for defined categories, for Senior Buying Director approval. 
  • Provide analysis to inform Planning on monthly category KPIs—sell-through, ROS—to support completion of seasonal/annual product plans for Senior Buying Director sign-off. 
  • Provide analysis to contribute to Buying input into Planning for IBP submissions and OTB management. 
  • Contribute to Marketing campaign product decisions—including promotions—for defined categories, for Senior Buying Director approval. 
  • Provide input to Senior Assortment Planning and Buying teams on range performance and future needs for Global Retail. 
  • Produce in-depth analysis on product performance—from sell-through to category space productivity and range quality—and help drive follow-up actions. 
  • Produce analysis to help manage seasonal business and inform future strategies, including product performance and sell-through, and help drive follow-up actions. 
  • Identify and analyse bestsellers and flag opportunities for in-season reorders of fast-moving articles, helping drive follow-up actions. 
  • Assist in managing regular STO requirements for respective channels and follow up on required actions. 
  • Provide analysis to assist Buying input for IBP submissions (owned by Planning) and OTB management. 
  • E2E Category Management on defined value categories.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Advanced skills in MS Office & MicroStrategy – Power Bi is a plus 
  • Fluent in English (Additional language is an advantage) 
  • Knowledge of retail management systems 
  • Strong analytical skills & commercial skills 
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • Structured, organised and process-orientated  
  • Good knowledge of detail but ability to derive end-to-end picture  
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure 

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree or equivalent education required  
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of functional area 
  • Experienced in job and fully qualified/trained - Combined broad theoretical and practical knowledge incl. company policies and practices  
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in job or job function  
  • Fluent in English (Additional language is an advantage)
