Assistant Manager Social Media, Partner Publishing (m/f/d) / Central Europe
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
Support the managing of the social media activities of adidas brand partners such as athletes, influencers or culture marketing partners within the Central Europe brand communications / newsroom team. Deliver adidas messages to the consumer through the social channels of existing and new brand partners, creating engaging content and advertising experiences which drive conversation. Ensure and handle an aligned product seeding process across all categories, e.g. Football, Running, Training or Originals. Guarantee an effective communication flow between all internal parties and external counterparts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create brand connection and product desire via innovative storytelling and publishing on partner channels.
- Support the execution of the influencer marketing strategy in Germany.
- Support the execution of individual social media strategies for contracted brand partners according to their annual calendars.
- Support the brand communications and partner publishing team to develop and execute social extensions for brand and product campaigns with partners – contracted partners and digital creators, e.g., create agency briefings based on campaign targets, create partner briefings with clear social media guidelines, or prepare and handle content productions.
- Champion the need for authentic partner content that’s relevant for the target group, true to the partner and our brand, insight led, innovative and that creates impact around key campaigns and sports culture moments.
- Support the brand communications and partner publishing team to coordinate end-to-end delivery of campaigns when it comes to event logistics, on-site talent hospitality, or production day logistics.
- Support the publishing team with insights on trends and innovative content formats on social media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure a flawless execution of publishing plans: Digital Publishing, Brand Communications, Sports Marketing, Culture Marketing, PR, Retail.
- Partner closely with externals such as partners agencies, creative agencies or influencers to deliver excellence content, and experience.
- Prepare campaign reports including social media clippings of our partners in close alignment with our digital analytics team.
- Support a horizontal product sourcing including pre-orders and promo orders, stock management, seeding boxes.
- Prepare and handle horizontal product seedings within the Brand Communications team.
- Support partner publishing operations connected to partner signings e.g., PO’s, CAF’s, payment process, product orders etc.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Competent in Microsoft packages.
