Manager Brand Communication adidas Originals, Market Europe
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Responsible for informing & executing the Originals Brand marketing strategy & label priorities for Market Europe, enabling strong brand health and conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inform & contribute towards the overarching adidas Originals category strategy with a priority focus on managing the activation plans for key moments & concepts
- Management & communication of the overarching European Brand Calendar ensuring strategic alignment to global priorities and market Europe omni-channel touch points
- Responsible for driving end to end communication and activation plans for strategic priorities across the portfolio, working with key business partners across the global business unit, European country & channel teams as well as external partners
- Inform strategic input into the Global business unit to ensure Brand Marketing tools are optimised to best meet market europe needs to deliver against country, channel & requirements
- Manage executional excellence & reporting performance against the Brand priorities capturing brand KPIS
- Build & steer external pitch processes to have the best creative and executional setup for key priorities
- Define and coordinate media planning across all appropriate communication channels and tools with the European MAT team
- Ensure strategic & efficient usage of all provided tools across all communication channels; newsroom, paid media, omnichannel, sports marketing activation, culture and influencer marketing
- Inform future trends within the sports and lifestyle industry, with a key focus of people of influence, European moments, fashion & streetwear trends, the retail industry etc
- Drive operational & system support across the team where relevant

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven understanding & demonstration of how to translate & build strategic comms strategies and tools (all forms)
- Have a good understanding of the Campaign Process from brief through to execution, executing global strategies and extending through hyperlocal activations
- Knowledge of the media landscape
- Strong project management skills
- Strong Presentation skills
- Proven communicator – both written and verbal
- Creative capacity & aptitude
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years marketing experience within a brand or agency (Ideally will have worked within the Sports or fashion industry)
- Degree educated preferably in communications or equivalent industry experience
- Substantial experience of the adidas business, or a significant knowledge in similar organization of the full marketing mix (from advertising, to events, to sponsorship, to retail) with a major brand or retail environment a benefit
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills other languages preferable
- External and agency relationship management a benefit
