PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

 

The Global Franchise team facilitates that Markets are successful in executing adidas Franchise business model with monobrand stores that adhere to our standards, healthy stores & partner portfolios and profitable growth.

 

The Manager Franchise framework creates Franchise specific materials (manuals, tools, instructions, processes, playbooks)  to support and guide Markets on diverse topics related to the Franchise channel.   Additionally, this role supports process implementation, data analysis, and the successful exchange of knowledge across the Global Franchise Community.

 

As part of your role, you will drive the creation and maintenance of the Global Franchise Hub, a platform that hosts the Global Franchise framework and facilitates effective communication and best practice sharing across Markets and functions. Also, you will orchestrate the preparation of Global Franchise workshops and regular interaction touchpoints with Market and Global counterparts.

 

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES 

 

Global framework

  • Create Franchise specific manuals, tools, instructions, processes, playbooks in line with our Global Franchise Operating model and in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Global Franchise framework, Global Franchise Policy and Global-Market Franchise interaction model.

 

Processes

  • Support the yearly assessment process of the Global Franchise Policy with Markets by consolidating results & action plans and preparing a suitable overview to be presented to the SLT.
  • Support Franchise masterdata and sales data validation processes with Markets.

 

Data analysis

  • Benchmark sell-in & sell-out KPI performance across Markets, with the ability to transform data into stories, identifying best practices and opportunities to support Markets.

 

Global Franchise Hub

  • Set-up, develop and maintain a Global platform (Global Franchise Hub) that facilitates internal communication with the Franchise Community and key counterparts.
  • Identify internal & external Franchise best practices that contribute to successfully drive the business and facilitate transparency in the Global Franchise Hub.
  • Create content (articles, news, interviews, videos) to be published in the Hub on a regular basis, in collaboration with Markets & key counterparts from diverse functions.

Global Franchise Community

  • Orchestrate the organization and preparation of Global Franchise workshops, regular calls and other key regular touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain a strong stakeholder network with a high level of trust that facilitates successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrate passion for Franchise and for excellence in daily work and during key forums (e.g. Global Franchise workshops).

 

Support to Markets & key stakeholders

  • Provide guidance to Market Franchise teams on materials related to the Global Franchise framework, focus areas and best practices.

 

Focus areas and key projects

  • Contribute to the definition of yearly focus areas and the evolution of the Global Franchise framework.
  • Support Global Franchise, Global Retail and key counterparts to deliver key projects.
  • Keep track of progress of topics related to the Franchise channel

  • Demonstrated Franchise knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Sharepoint and MS Office (PPoint, Excel, Word) 
  • Good knowledege of adidas reporting systems (Power BI)
  • Good knowledge of adidas Global Policies and related processes
  • Good organizational and collaboration skills with ability to work on a wide variety of topics related to Franchise (Sales, Finance, Systems, Training, Membership)
  • Analytical mindset and innovative thinker
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Market and Global counterparts
  • Fluency in English written and spoken (mandatory). Additional languages are an advantage

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Business (ideally with Marketing and Sales focus) or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in Franchise. Good knowledge of Retail and Wholesale
  • 4+ years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years of direct Franchise experience, ideally complemented by additional experience in Retail or Wholesale.
