Manager HR Herzo Site (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Contributes to business success by enabling organizational change and employee retention. Partners closely with Labor Relations, HR Business Partners and functional experts, along with the HR Herzo Site team, to build a trusting and effective relationship with the local works council. Provides operational support to the HR Herzo Site team, specifically the processes, platforms, IT applications, communities and communications for which HR Herzo Site is responsible.

 

Supports the translation of global HR initiatives and products into site-wide practices to ensure a consistent and compliant employee experience.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

HR Herzo Site

  • Advises and supports the HR Business Partner community for successful cooperation with the works council in the implementation of small to medium-sized reorganizations and organizational adjustments
  • Advises HR Business Partners on HR Herzo Site processes and tools
  • Supports the development of a network of HR Business Partners to ensure consistent application of local policies, practices and operational agreements
  • Contributes to building excellent relationships and close communication between local HR Business Partners to enable effective, ongoing collaboration and successful execution of tasks from a works council perspective
  • Supports the HR Herzo Site Team in working with the GBS function to define, review and activate specific local HR processes
  • Contributes to the multi-year HR Herzo strategy
  • Supports collaboration with HR Governance and Processes in the creation or adaptation of local policies
  • Supports in working with Communications to implement a local communications plan to drive local engagement and trust
  • Supports HR Herzo site processes, platforms and IT applications and create reports
  • Creates training materials in a self-directed manner
  • Supports in the design, testing and operation of IT applications (e.g. WoCo app)

 

Employee Integration Program

  • Participates in the preparation of organizational restructuring at the Herzogenaurach site in order to plan the deployment of at-risk employees in advance
  • Supports and coordinates all placement activities in collaboration with HR Management, Talent Acquisition and the Works Council
  • Contributes to building and maintain a constructive and trusting cooperation with the Works Council and is available as its point of contact
  • Supports in ensuring and facilitating cooperation between all parties involved in the placement process
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the established employee integration process
  • Prepares regular reports on KPIs for the stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective networking, ability to build strong and productive relationships
  • Proactive and effective communication at lower and middle hierarchy levels
  • Fluency in German for successful collaboration with the works council
  • English language skills (oral and written)
  • Ideally experience with and knowledge of German labor law and co-determination rights
  • Ideally experience in working with the works council
  • Ability to objectively support employees at risk, considering the interests of the company and the employees
  • Willingness to cooperate, empathy and coaching skills an advantage
  • Analytical skills combined with the motivation to create integrated end-to-end solutions and improve existing processes
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ideally knowledge of Smartsheet, ASPEN, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps and SAP HR / SuccessFactors
  • Process mindset and curiosity to improve and digitize processes with available resources
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with a focus on meeting deadlines and high quality
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure and in an ambivalent environment
  • Strong results orientation: commitment to high standards and quality of execution
  • Constructive mindset to question with the ability to find and develop new solutions to different problems
  • Resilience in dealing with challenging stakeholders

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5+ years of progressive work experience in HR, Labor Law or Labor Relations
  • Proven experience in a cross-functional and international environment with a track record of achieving goals
  • Proven experience in building processes
