Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Supporting the Senior Manager in the planning and operational management of the business with the aim of achieving profitable and sustainable growth in market share and sales with the defined key accounts, taking into account the brand strategy in the main categories and the defined target group.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Senior Manager in terms of sales target planning, potential analysis, increasing sell-through and healthy market share growth
  • Build professional and personal relationships with key decision makers and buyers of assigned accounts as a prerequisite for adidas to become the 'preferred supplier'
  • Customer-oriented implementation of the adidas brand concepts and ensuring a market-leading brand presentation at POS & Digital in close coordination with Wholesale Activation, Digital Partner Commerce and other internal contacts
  • Business-enhancing relationship management
  • Working based on figures and data through targeted use and knowledge of customer-specific sell-out and sell-in figures and digital KPIs
  • Organization and efficient management of the sell-in process, taking into account the adidas sell-in tools
  • Efficient handling of day-to-day business (e.g. preparation and follow-up of customer appointments, meetings, preparation of presentations)
  • Continuous order book management as well as reliable and cost-efficient procurement & delivery in cooperation with Customer Service
  • Regular preparation of relevant key figures such as sell-in and sell-out as well as derivation and development of measures to improve these key figures
  • Supporting strategic, internal or external meetings and projects (development, implementation, control)
  • Continuous learning and further development of your own skills within the framework of the Learning & Development opportunities offered by adidas

 

Key Relationships:

 

  • Internal: Sales Central Europe, Wholesale Activation, Go-To-Market (Range), Digital Partner Commerce, Customer Service, Sales Development
  • External: Buyers, purchasing managers, marketing managers, planners, analysts of the respective customers

    • Fluency in written and spoken English and German is mandatory;
    • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to travel

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

    • University degree in business administration / sports economics with a focus on marketing/sales
    • At least 3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing
    • Industry: ideally with experience in the sports industry/clothing/shoes/fashion or FMCG
