Purpose and overall relevance for the organization:
The job holder supports the implementation and continuous enhancement of company policies, retail operating standards, and operational processes across Market Europe. The role drives consistency, compliance, and process efficiency across the retail network to enable strong business performance and serves as a key support function for franchise business partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of adidas Group policies and Retail Europe standards, including but not limited to House of Retail.
- Review existing policies and standards on a regular basis and provide required updates.
- Develop new policies for the relevant clusters and districts in line with Market Europe business requirements.
- Partner with and support Regional Directors and District Managers through presentations and training on existing and new policies.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders to align policies and procedures with local legal requirements.
- Collect, review, and consolidate the results of adidas Retail Standards Management audits (aRSM) and provide regular reporting to the Senior Manager Retail Operations & Store Projects.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses of policies and procedures to identify market needs and ensure House of Retail compliance and integration.
- Ensure an effective flow of information and coordinate responses to aRSM-related questions with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Retail Operations team.
- Coordinate the implementation of adidas Group health and safety policies and guidelines across retail stores.
- Drive the ongoing development and update of House of Retail standards within stores.
- Collaborate with Finance and Profit Protection teams.
- Consolidate and review feedback and reports from Market Europe related to policy and process implementation.
- Drive operational efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance back-office processes, streamline workflows, and improve overall store productivity.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and perform well under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Structured, organized, and process-oriented way of working.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrates curiosity and openness towards new technologies, digital tools, and innovative ways of working, with the ability to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Required education and experience / minimum qualifications:
- University degree and/or commercial training in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in Retail Operations required.
- Experience in retail store management preferred.
- Understanding of franchise retail preferred.
- Experience in store workload planning preferred.
