Manager SCM Retail Excellence ( S/4 Hypercare) SCM EUROPE - Temp until August 2027 (m/f/d)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Manager Retail Excellence SCM Europe contributes significantly to successfully minimize business disruption during the critical hypercare and sustain period after S/4 go-live.
Responsibilities include supporting the SCM Retail roadmap with focus on close alignment with Sales, coordinating different SCM functions on key initiatives, performance improvements and tactical alignment as needed, looking at the end-to-end flow from order placement to delivery to the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, planning and execution of Supply Chain Retail initiatives with focus on S/4 go-live and cut-over
- Monitor end-to-end order flow and identify disruptions early to initiate counter measures
- Build partnerships with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Sales, IT to enable alignment on day-to-operations and facilitate consistency between expectations and capabilities through proactive communication
- Monitor performance of Supply Chain Retail initiatives against targets - identify deviations and initiate necessary changes
- Act as a trusted partner to Retail commercial teams by communicating performance, capabilities, new implementations and escalations.
- Support assigned initiatives effectively with timely communication on project progress and results to Senior Management and stakeholders
- Drive performance visibility by developing and enhancing dashboards as well as executing ad-hoc analysis to support dynamic business requirements

- Various SCM functions (e.g. DC, Transport, Orderbook Management, Performance Management, etc.)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Proven collaboration and people skills
- Strong communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
- Ability to mediate, convince and build consensus between cross-functional stakeholders with different objectives
- Good knowledge about Retail and Omnichannel fulfilment
- Profound SAP knowledge
- Strong analytical skills in combination with very good PowerBI knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Business- and solution-oriented mindset
- Good knowledge about Retail order-to-delivery process
- Self-initiated and pro-active mind-set
- Ability to think end-to-end and operate cross-functional and good understanding of external business drivers
- Team player
- High level of system knowledge (MS Office suite)
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- College or university Degree
- Over 3-5 years of relevant work experience in SCM, ideally Retail/Omnichannel fulfilment related functions
- Prior work in business functions (i.e. Sales, Retail, eCom) is a plus
