Manager Visual Excellence - Europe (m/f/d)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Drive high standard of Visual Merchandising by providing execution, tools, guidance and tracking to Retail Stores across Europe.
- Ensure that stores receive VM support relevant to Store- and Branded Space-formats (OR/FR/WHS) which could outperform Retail KPI and Brand Image.
- Manage rollouts of Visual Merchandising tools and concepts and lead coordination and implementation.
- Support European Store Expansion plan from a Visual Merchandising point of view-harmonizing brand strategy and commercial goals within the consumer journey.
- Monitor and improve processes for flawless VM execution.
- Promote Visual Merchandising as a P&L contributor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the relevant teams to create clear visual direction ensuring continued alignment to global VM objectives and positioning:
- Develop guidelines, training programs and tools for clusters to implement
- Support roll-out of new concepts and tools
- Manage projects (remodels and new openings) within Europe from a VM point of view:
- Create Macroplans (Category Level) and Microplan (Product Level) while aligning with relevant stakeholders brand strategic priorities, visual direction with store capacities and commercial targets
- Support identified store projects onsite, lead teams and ensure flawless execution of product packages, fixtures, Instore communication, campaigns and VM tools.
- Build solid relationships with external agencies to influence the visual presentation in line with the brand direction for all channels
- Improve processes:
- Monitor other Retail industry (brick and mortar and digital) for best practices that can be adapted for adidas
- Contribute to the cross-functional retail store expansion process
- Contribute to driving for industry leading innovations in cooperation with Director VM & Brand and Product Training Europe at both the consumer level and the implementation practices
- Follow defined VM Framework and Own The Game 2025 Strategy
- Act as a support partner during the seasonal sell-in process
- Analyze and evaluate VM Initiatives against defined KPI’s e.g., NPS, UPT, CR
- Manage Resources:
- Manage project budgets (as assigned)
- Take over people responsibilities (if applicable)
- Additional assignments or special projects as assigned or agreed
- Act as an adidas brand ambassador

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Work independently and collaboratively
- Fully qualified and experienced in retail Visual Merchandising, combining theoretical with practical experience
- Strong organisation skills and flexibility
- Proven track record in project management
- English fluent: verbal, written & spoken. Another European language is an advantage
- IT: Microsoft Office advanced
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Business or Marketing Degree
- 4-6 years’ experience in Retail Visual Merchandising including fashion retailing
- 1+ years working with Global markets or 1+ years working in a top tier adidas market
- 1+ year’s management experience
