Senior Business Analyst Corporate Reporting (m/f/d)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Within Corporate Finance & Controlling we drive companywide activities regarding financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic & operational decision-making as well as performance management at Group level. The Manager Corporate Reporting is responsible to support the timely, accurate, consistent, and insightful preparation and submission of standard financial management reports/dashboards & analyses for the Company (to Board and senior management) and Investor Relations. Furthermore, this role ensures development of financial reporting processes and systems to enable harmonization and alignment across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional/Operational
- Take ownership of relevant month-end closing activities, special projects, and ad hoc requests by analyzing, consulting, and creating transparency for the Corporate Finance & Controlling Leadership team as well as relevant stakeholders of other departments (incl. Commercial Finance, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, etc.)
- Support the preparation and development of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) based financial management reporting (incl. timely and complete delivery, correctness and plausibility checks and cross checks between different data sources) to enable harmonization and standardization
- Provide meaningful insights into key financial developments (e.g., P&L, OWC, CAPEX) and continuously improve analytical capabilities
- Ensure the governance and the maintenance of Standard Reporting in line with the Group Guidelines & Policies
- Coordinate with GBS Finance R&R for reporting execution and maintenance
- Provide support and expertise in Company reporting structures and principles by identifying, sharing, and fostering best practices and support in resolving reporting issues (when applicable in cooperation with GBS)
- Support all data integration within different systems in coordination with Finance Reporting & Planning solutions, Tech or GBS department as part of annual reporting changes and cut-over activities
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Take ownership for the development/definition, implementation, and further improvement of relevant processes (e.g., monthly data quality controls) and ensure cross-departmental cooperation and alignment
- Participate in relevant projects with impact on reporting landscape, the finance reporting processes and cross-departmental finance organization
- Support the rollout of the new SAP system landscape (SAP S/4 HANA) in case of CFIN changes, ensuring existing reporting requirements are covered and reports are updated to the new systems and data structures
- Coordinate with Finance Reporting & Planning solutions structural reporting changes to enhance financial reporting activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of interactions and dynamics within an international company
- Very good understanding of accounting, finance and controlling principles, in particular financial reporting and statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow metrics)
- Good understanding of Business processes & structures, financial systems (SAP CFIN, Power BI)
- Good Project Management skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- High degree of customer orientation and pro-activity

- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration / Finance / Controlling
- 4+ years of related work experience in an international corporation with complex organizational and system landscape structures
