Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Lead the Rewards function (Cross-Border Employment, Compensation & Benefits), for all adidas entities and employees of all countries in Europe. Lead the design, implementation and communication of local Rewards processes, standards, procedures and guidelines. Define and design the Geo roadmap and lead the transformation throughout the Geo. Manage relationships between Strategic HR Partners and Global HR Rewards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the Rewards function in close cooperation with HR and Business in the Geography
  • Define, design, and lead the implementation of the Geo roadmap to maximize global programs, processes & tools whilst creating efficiency opportunities
  • Define and oversee the design, implementation, delivery & execution of local Rewards programs, processes, and tools in alignment with global frameworks and policies
  • Oversee implementation of globally defined policies and procedures within all countries
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage the Benefits budget within the Geography
  • Oversee HR Administration, Payroll and Benefits and drive the transition towards HR Services according to global HR Services strategy
  • Define and oversee the delivery and execution of communication, change management and training activities for Geography
  • Oversee definition of local policies and guidelines regarding Rewards in the geography
  • Track issues and exceptions and communicate policies changes/recommendations to the

Global Rewards functions and back to the HR community

  • Build and lead operational efficiencies and ensure continuous improvement in the geography
  • Provide input for strategic global Rewards projects
  • Continually evaluate and implement relevant programs, processes and procedures to ensure every employee in one country has the same Rewards experience and every employee worldwide has a comparable Rewards experience
  • Analyze industry insights and leading practices of reference companies in the space of HR Rewards for the Geography
  • Build and lead a highly engaged team and provide the platform for long-term, (cross)functional careers
  • Within Global Rewards participate in the planning and development of Global Rewards initiatives and programs, considering HR Strategic Partners' input and Geography perspective
  • Build and maintain the relationship with HR Services to ensure all Rewards programs and policies are administered properly

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University Degree
  • MBA or Advanced degree or certificate (i.e. CEBS, CCP, etc.) preferred
  • 8-10 years' experience in Human Resources, with specialization in Rewards Management
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
