Senior Manager HR & Projects - Global Distribution Centers (32-40h/week) (m/f/d)
Purpose:
As a team we ensure that DC employees are considered, can participate and benefit from the bigger adidas (HR) framework. We do that by working along our partners in CoEs, Markets and the HR DC Network in line with the new adidas Operating Model. This role enables the further development of HR Global Distribution Center to create a positive and equitable HR experience for our DC employees worldwide. We do that by co-creating central HR Concepts & products making sure the needs and specific requirements of the DC audience are considered. We further support our HR DC Community in identifying synergies across markets, in scaling up benefits across the Network with central partners and ensure best practices are not only shared but replicated.
As Senior Manager HR & Projects you support large and lead smaller international HR projects for Global Distribution Centres working across a global Stakeholder Group. Ensure projects and initiatives achieve their objectives to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement. Manage the HR DC community and encourage sharing, cross-market exchange and learning.
Be a partner to identify, raise and support HR Demands that arise across Markets in our DC Network where scaling initiatives can bring benefits.
Key Responsibilities:

HR:
- Act as the Program Manager for DC Leadership Initiatives run jointly across Markets (e.g. DC LEAP) partnering with the Program Sponsors, SCM Market & DC Ops Leads. Collaboratively manage program selection, participant comms and management, execution of the learning journey, and facilitating meaningful process to support participant placement after graduation.
- Promote staff development in the DCs by co-creating concepts where beneficial, identifying shared development demand across the HR DC Network and strengthening the partnership with Market Partners and global HR expert teams.
- Focus on assessing learning and development needs and implementing them for the DCs in light of the HR strategy.
- Working with experts, HRBPs and business leaders to ensure ROI on learning and development investments.
- Continue to evolve digital enablement for our DCs with a focus on accessible, usable and relevant Learning & Development offerings
- Act as the main point of contact and community managers for the HR DC Network and their Market partners to share best practices
- Create solutions in collaboration with expert communities, Market partners and the HR DC Network as well as Business counterparts to drive meaningful development, representation and impact for the DC Audience.
- Work with DC leaders on agreed projects to evolve HR processes and for the DC audience
- Create and monitor dashboards and analytical trends to support decision making
Projects:
- Ensure that a sound project methodology is developed and applied, and that success and consistency in implementation are ensured
- Manage day-to-day project management, e.g. maintaining work plans, creating and implementing status update documents and monitoring progress according to agreed milestones
- Enabling consistent use of data and analytics to shape organisational strategy for DC staff, including internal staff, as well as data points for external workers in DCs

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- HR knowledge: Background on development and Learning, HR expertise, change implementation support, organisational design implementation, maintaining an external perspective, anticipating employee trends, use of HR metrics, basic employee relations. Basic knowledge of human resource planning, Individual and collective labour law.
- Business competencies: Commercial awareness, customer focus, understanding of HR strategy, understanding of business, understanding of value chain and key processes.
- Consultancy skills: Communicating solutions to meet business needs, ability to 'sell' HR solutions to the business, trusted advisor, small group facilitation, coaching skills, project delivery and input.

Requisite Education and Experience:
- University degree (preferably main subject Personnel Management)
- Minimum of 6-7 years experience in the field of HR and/or Project Management (preferably in an international organization, preferably working specifically with shopfloor employees/DC Associates)
- Previous experience in the area of talent management, development and learning and/or running global development programs beneficial
- Strong Project Management knowledge
- Internship or study abroad
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
