Senior Manager Partner Activation, BU Training (m/f/d)
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
The Sr. Manager Partner Activation drives the development of an integrated, through-the-line, marketing communications plan to support adidas’ global and specific BU marketing and business objectives delivered and supported by our Partners.
This includes leading social influencer strategies and experiential event activations that elevate brand presence and consumer engagement.
Strong talent management and interpersonal skills are essential to engage with a diverse training partner roster, including high-profile individuals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as partner to the BU comms managers in developing marketing and communication plans that drive the business unit and lead to effective communication activities relating to strategic partnerships and partner concepts.
This includes identifying and managing social influencers and event-based activations aligned with brand campaigns. - Create comprehensive action plans for BU Partners with the aim to maximize brand and (new) product exposure through our Partners and their channels while maximizing efficiencies.
Leverage influencer networks and live/virtual events to amplify campaign reach and consumer impact. - Facilitate and coordinate sports marketing Partner integration into campaign activations strategies and plans for a specific BU as well as Brand needs.
Plan and execute event-based activations (e.g., product launches, pop-ups, athlete/influencer appearances) in collaboration with partners. - Identify communication opportunities, as well as opportunities for Co-ops & Co-branding and coordinate with day-to-day management of all other marketing disciplines: Digital, Social, PR and retail.
Lead influencer marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with social media and PR strategies. - Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of partners, including high-profile individuals, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with brand values.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
- Broad experience in marketing communications, activations, campaign development and execution.
- Proven experience in managing social influencer campaigns and/or experiential event marketing.
- Deep-rooted understanding of an ever-changing marketing landscape and advanced experience in project management.
- Ability to collaborate and manage platforms and tools used by multiple functions as well as ability to manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: product marketing, communications, social, digital.
- Experience working with influencer marketing platforms, talent agencies, and event production teams is a plus.
- Demonstrated talent management capabilities and the ability to work effectively with diverse and high-profile stakeholders.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master Degree / MBA a plus.
- 6+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
Experience in social influencer marketing and/or event management strongly preferred. - Talent management and orchestration of partner plans
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
