Senior Project Manager HR Programs (m/f/d)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Manage and deliver projects for HR function and act as strategic advisor for People elements of cross-functional initiatives. Support the development and execution of the HR and People Strategy with a focus on managing specific projects within the HR project portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Plan and lead projects from ideation to successful delivery in line with a new People Strategy and HR roadmap
- Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources.
- Ensure full understanding of project scope to be able to design detailed project plans.
- Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
- Ensure availability of financial, material and human resources required to successfully complete a project
- Offer effective solutions in meeting set targets and satisfying business requirements
- Develop and implement project management programs which contain the details of a project
- Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines for the flawless execution of project
- Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively managing people, resources, and budget.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Oversee the recruiting and orienting of project personnel to ensure a capable workforce
- Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults in order to seek solutions to a more efficient process
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Monitor the project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan to implement corrective or preventative actions.
- Establish risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks; report and escalate to sponsors as needed
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments of an organization
- Ensure compliance to project management standards, e.g. -PM methodology
- Establish and execute the project governance and present the project status to the steering committee and other relevant stakeholders
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs; escalate dependency issues and co-create solutions
- Explore and identify use cases and opportunities in the utilization of Gen AI within the wider HR system and process landscape and project manage their implementations
- Drive and collaborate with HR stakeholders to ensure seamless integrations of new AI tools technologies into existing HR systems and workflows.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in Gen AI and assess their potential impact on HR programs and employee experience.
- Create transparency across key initiatives within the HR and People Strategies (i.e., about project goals, benefits, status quo vs. initial roadmap, resource bottlenecks etc.)
- Receive demand for & drive assessment of need for new initiatives, support from ideation to scoping management
- Conduct feasibility studies and oversee the selection of vendors
- Provide ad-hoc support for HR Leadership
- As needed, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditure, and initiate corrective action to meet financial objectives

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management skills & ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams from concept to implementation, ideally on an international scale
- Proven leader with experience leading complex teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills; demonstrate the ability to apply project management principles and methodologies in seeking solutions to project problems.
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
- Creative mind with story-telling skills; able to develop effective communication materials to support change management activities for our portfolio
- Demonstrated awareness and curiosity of Generative AI technologies and their potential applications in HR and how to translate it into practical solutions
- Specific Gen AI skills include use case identification, prompt engineering, tool familiarity, ethical AI awareness, and change enablement
- Strong strategic and tactical skills with the ability to focus on the details

- Fluent in English; ideally in other languages as well
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- A degree from an accredited college or university
- Project management certification or demonstrated project management skills and experience
- Experience in area of digital HR with the implementation of the HCM system preferred
- Minimum 6-8 years progressive working experience in fast moving goods industry and/or consulting background
- Track record in project management and change management, preferably on a global scale in the HR space
- Experience in implementing Generative AI technologies is highly desirable.
